The ball screw jacks are suitable for high services as well as for very rapid, quick, and precise positioning. As compared to trapezoidal screw jacks, it presents transmission reversibility: it is, therefore, advisable to provide brakes, blocking, or contrast torques to avoid a direction reversal. Primary Type of Ball Screw Jack
XL ball screw jacks use high-efficiency TBI ball screws, suitable for higher-duty circles and higher-speed applications. It requires less input torque to move the load when compared with machine screw jacks.
There are two main types of ball screw jacks, screw translating and nut traveling. The transacting ball jack uses a ball screw traveling into or out of the gearbox. The ball screw protrudes from the gearbox to lift the load. For the nut traveling ball screw jack (also call rotating screw jack), The ball screw shaft remains stationary. The lifting nut moves along the ball screw shaft to lift the load.
We can also produce screw jacks with an anti-rotation feature(also called keyed screw jack), which can prevent its lifting screw from drag turning.

Best Materials
- Housing:Â Ductile iron housings. Compared with gray cast iron, it has higher plasticity and toughness, better mechanical properties, and its comprehensive properties are close to steel.
- Worm gear:Â ZQAl9-4Â or ZCuSn10Pb1, high hardness, excellent wear resistance, not prone to seizure, good casting performance, and cutting performance.
- Worm shaft:Â 20CrMnTi, Surface carburizing and hardening treatment has good workability, small processing deformation, and good fatigue resistance.
- Lifting Screw: C45, GCr15 or 316, 304. This series, it uses TBI brand ball screws.
- Bearings:Â Tapered or ball thrust bearings, anti-friction, and provide rugged reliability.
- Grease lubrication. Offers easy maintenance.
